On April 4th, 2013 Spray Lake Sawmills hosted a workshop to review and gather feedback on two key documents: Protected Areas Gap Analysis and High Conservation Value Forest Assessment.  We were pleased to see a good cross sectional mix of participants.  It was a very constructive and productive session.  Thank you to everyone who was able to attend.  This is only one step towards a bigger, longer term vision for forest management in our FMA (forest management agreement area).  We look forward to more community based workshops/consultations as we develop and refine our management directions.

We are working towards May 17 as a cut-off for any further feedback anyone may have to offer on these two documents.  The links for finding these documents can be found on an earlier blog posting.  Thanks again to everyone to volunteered their time to help us out on this project.
