This year Spray Lake Sawmills will plant more than 2.4 million spruce and pine seedlings to supplement natural seedlings growing in the harvest areas.
Spray Lake Sawmills reforests all its harvested areas. All planted seedlings are grown in nurseries, from seed collected in or near the harvest areas. The reforestation program is designed to grow new forests and to monitor their growth.
