On April 28 and April 30, 2015 we met with local stakeholders to collaborate on operational plans for the Burnt Timber and Sullivan Creek Compartments.

In an effort to provide opportunities for meaningful participation, early in the operational planning process we provide collaborative planning sessions for all of our operating areas.

The following topics were addressed:

Identification of stakeholder values in the area
Specific values (ex: specific campground)
Harvest objectives such as: volume of timber, Mountain Pine Beetle, forest management plan, wildfire mitigation
Review of maps and discussion of preliminary harvest areas
Discussion of mitigations
Discussion of harvest timing, access, and other issues

Participants were provided copies of the draft meeting minutes for editing to ensure we accurately captured their concerns prior to posting the below results.

The results of both sessions can be viewed by visiting the below links.
