We heard you loud and clear…
Based on feedback from our open houses it was made very clear that our attemps to communicate with the public have not been sufficient. You told us our website is old, static and an in-effective communication tool when it come to issues that matter.
After looking at several different options we came to the conclution that an SLS Blog would be the best way to pass on current, relevant and important information on a regular basis. This blog will be used as an open forum to both post and recieve information that matters to you.
We are working hard to get the site up and running. Stay tuned…
Please don’t ruin our absolutely treasured mountain trails as you steal all the old growth trees. Please and thankyou for leaving them in the same condition or better than they were before
I can assure you Todd that we will do our best to safeguard the trail system west of Bragg Creek so that everyone can continue enjoying them. We have been working closely with local trail user groups to make sure that the logging and recreational interests in the area are managed in a way that everyone can co-exist. We are also not about to steal any trees or do anything illegal. Spray Lake Sawmills’ Woodlands Department is run by an entire staff made up of Registered Forest Practitioners. We all share a common love of the forest and are doing our best to manage it properly.
